Answer» I turned it on and it immediately turned to a black screen with white letters that say RS482- BIOS 300/14 CRT/TV BR#14086 I turned it on Sorry, I cannot see what it is and my crystal ball is in the repair shop. Please read Please read this first which is the first thread on every forum. Please provide more information - including what happened between the last TIME the system booted properly and the first time it did not (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc).*censored*? "It" is obviously the computer. It was working perfectly fine before this happened. I left it on all night on the night before because I fell asleep and my mom was the one that informed me that it wasn't booting, although I am not sure if she turned it off when I fell asleep or if she found it like that (with the message in white letters). I haven't had any viruses before (that I am aware of).I'm sure you'll go far with that ATTITUDE...and people will be tripping over themselves to be first to help out. Read what you posted and start again...Quote from: patio on January 14, 2010, 04:42:57 PM I'm sure you'll go far with that attitude...and people will be tripping over themselves to be first to help out. Hie, that has something do do with your mother board, please unplug all the card on your system board and try again reassembling them. guud luckyQuote from: chaputikachagwa on January 14, 2010, 11:26:22 PM that has something do do with your mother board I'd go for it being the video card bios especially if the card is an ATI Radeon. I'll wait for the OP to respond to the information requests. Ya, I apologize for the rudeness in my post and for the lack of info. Its a HPCompaq Presario SR1650NX and I believe its from 2005. Its Windows XP, too. I don't know the exact stuff for everything else because my dad took it to his friend but I'm pretty sure its the same from when we bought it. Thank you so much for any help and again sorry. |
