Solve : Can't download with ie8? |

Answer» I have a Dell Inspiron 1420, OS Vista Home Premium. With IE 7, I was able to open websites but when I clicked their download button, nothing happened. I upgraded to IE 8, same PROBLEM. I installed Firefox and I am able to VISIT web SITES and download material. I removed IE 8 and reinstalled IE 7, still the same problem. I "repaired" IE 7 and 8, no change. Did system restore(s), no change. Short of REFORMATTING my hard drive and reloading all my programs, (not feasible) what are my OPTIONS? What anti-virus programs are you running |
