Answer» I've got an IBM A21 laptop with win2K on it. I have no problems connecting to the internet on my home or office network. I can usually get on any home network that has no SECURITY. I can't seem to get on at the resturant I go to or hotels I stay at or airports. I get a connection to the router no problem I just cant get past it. I've tried a netgear and d-link PCMCIA card and an Airlink USB. I got on once at the resturant USING their cafe.com and after that no luck. Any sugestions?Each facility has their own access protocol. Ask them for the settings to use it.This is not a protocal problem. I've even been on with their HELP desk on a COUPLE of them. These are wide open.
