Help!!!!Boot to the recovery console and run chkdsk /r
Did you recently install any NEW hw or sw?every time I re boot it goes to file system check FAT32. No new SW or HWOne more time. Boot to the Recovery Console and run chkdsk /r
Sorry Allen, but I can not get to start up options to boot recovery console. Is there another way?You don't use STARTUP options. To get to the recovery console you boot to the XP CD and choose the first REPAIR option. When I put the XP CD in I can hear it running, but the screen goes to system check. You need to go into the bios and make the cd the first item in the boot order. How do I get into the Bios?Reboot your system and watch the screen as soon as it boots. You'll see a message that says either "To enter bios press " or To enter setup press " As soon as you see that message, press the key it says to press. If you don't see the message, tell us what type of computer you have.Don't see the message. Have a SONY VAIOAccording to the following link you need to press either F2 or F3 to enter the bios http://michaelstevenstech.com/bios_manufacturer.htm
