Answer» no user profile icons are displaying on Welcome screen, just blue with blue circling likebusy pointer butcan MOVE mouse pointer. the blue screen pops to almost as if it were going to cmd prompt screen but stays on blue screen. can't do anything to move from that condition. I am USING my SamsungGALAXYEXHIBIT Android to search solutions as I have nothing to click to login. Before this, I no longer had access or permission to use standard user says access denied then HELP said 'use group policy security to change how user accounts behave'. so as much as I can remember I followed help directions something like this: GPMC=group policy mgmt console-simplified mgmt-something about personal-maybe security descriptors-and finally I ended up unchecking 'display user profiles on WELCOME SCREEN. I noticed it as I was leaving that screen but wasn't sure what happened. after going over a few other things that didn't change anything I was basically closing all my windows open THEN ASKED TO CHANGE USERS and there it was a blank Windows login screen with no icons! Can I get them back? Problem I'm having is not having access to anything but blank blue screen spinning or busy pointer & popping screen to fake a possible changeto black screen. I hope this Iis enough to go on a lil. I didn't write down my steps on them occurring and I usually do to know what happened. this was about a month ago & I'm falling behind in my tasks as if I have no compuf2fer. Microsoft said I have a hacker & it would take detailed & long intricate work for them to remotely access a fix for it & they no longer provide free help even though I pay monthly for Office 365, they would only charge about $99 to look at it but don't have money for that. I told them I wonder if they are the hacker to build revenue. it is very late now & this is how I make mistakes from being tired. I'll post n see if anyone is still on about 5-10 minutes.Do you have a Windows 7 Repair Disc. You might be able to fix the issues with that PERFORMING a repair to 7. If you dont have one, you can burn one using someone elses Windows 7 computer. You boot the system off of this disc and then perform a repair.I agree a Repair Install is the best bet...the Post is almost impossible to read however. |
