Solve : can't re-extened a drive in vista? |
|
Answer» hi all, im having troube re-extened my C:\, i have space to give it. take a look at the picture. i shrunk it to make a backup driveYou shrunk it, using what tool? Anyway, if you don't have a tool, SEE here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-gparted-to-resize-your-windows-vista-partition/ or http://partitionlogic.org.uk/ vista's built-in disk manager(shown above;in the computer management)There's not enough info in your screenshot...right click Drive 0 and select Properties...post back with the details. It's probably not worth messing around with for an extra 2.5G.... If done improperly you risk LOSING ALL your Data... The Recovery partition is your copy of Vista...i wouldn't fool with that either.really, i though it was for the programs i had when i got this, i have a reinstall vista disc, but do i really need it?do i really need that partition?
