Solve : Can't undo window size change?

I am a TOTAL beginner. I (foolishly) right clicked on my taskbar to show windows side by side. Apparently, it also sueezes them in in all different positions. However, there apparently is no way to undo or DISABLE this feature. Using Vista here. Help please?

I do that, but then next TIME I open a new page it just does it again. And if I click a LINK from an email it only opens the new page in the top third of the screen Quote
