I have a WinXP home on my HP PC, when I tried to update the security update from the MS site, it won't let me, it just told me that the update failed and I search the MSKB with avail. This is a REALLY XP not a copy. Can you folks help me?If it failed validation you get to call Microsoft and convince them you have a legal copy. They will take it from there.Oh, it didn't fail validation cuz I checked it. And the WinXP is one that I BOUGHT from a reputable store and was only install on this PC I could download and install one of the UPDATES. The msg just stats that "Updates were unable to be successfully installed." I just updated two other PCs runnung XP and they WORK fine. It must be somethimg wrong with this PC but I don't know what. :-/
