Solve : Cancelling windows "remembered" password??

Answer»

I would like help to cancel an existing password that windows has “remembered”for access to an IP
The “Do you want Windows to remember this password” or some such box, pops up sometimes when using a new application etc.
I have previously used it to facilitate entry into the “members facility” of my IP provider.
However since my IP changed some numbers in the IP address, the username required to open it has changed. I have no problems there as I have the new username, but every time I enter the “Username” in the “Members Facility” of the site, windows pops up with the old “Username.” There is no PROBLEM with this, as I just ignore it, and type in the new.. APART from that is the fact that it is a rather long Username and it would be much easier if I could get rid of the old one from Windows and insert the new one, it would only require me to enter the first digits in the Username slot, the pop up to appear, click on it and hey presto the username and password are inserted.
My query, “How do I get to change the username and password that Windows has “remembered”?
I have been in through, Control Panel”, “User Accounts” but there are no stored passwords there.
I am running Vista Home Premium SP2. I have also exhausted the “Search” sections of Vista.
Any advice appreciated, but if any forthcoming, I am a computer numty, so advise in computer “baby talk” please.
IE - Tools - Interent Options - Content TAB - Auto Complete Settings - Uncheck "Ask me before saving passwords".

In the future, please just state your question WITHOUT the long explanation - it makes it easier to figure out what it is you want to KNOW Thanks and wilco You're welcome.
