Solve : Cannot access folder in XP? |

Answer» Hi, I'm new here; my old hard DRIVE crashed; I have a DELL 4600 desktop; I installed a brand new hard drive (IDE) and installed Win XP; then I wanted to TRY to save info off my old hard drive so installed it as a Slave drive; I can open everything except the "My Documents" folder; I really just want to save the "My Pictures" folder and copy it to my new hard drive but keep getting the error msg "Access denied"; I've tried safe mode and allowing access to Administrator (me) but access still denied; HELP ! Do I have to re-partition the slave drive ? When I started Windows after attaching the slave drive my comp recognized it as slave drive and I can see it under My Computer as the F drive; I did not have to partition it but it seems like my old "My Pictures" folder has disappeared--nothing in recycle bin on slave drive; thanks.
