Answer» My desktop will not boot into Windows. I get the system screen up, so I enter the 'Setup', then 'Boot', go into 'Boot PRIORITY' to check the sequence to try to boot from the XP disc. 1st boot device is 'floppy drive'. 2nd is '4M-HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA'. Both 'floppy drive' and the '4M-HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA' are in []. When I go into 'floppy drive', I cannot CHANGE it to CD - the only options are either of the ones ALREADY mentioned or disabled. The computer will not boot from the disc. This is the Home ed provided by my computer builder. Help!! have you try pressing f9 while the cd in the drive during turning on the PC?then select cd drive. I do that to my computer first what kind of computer is it. to switch boot seq you need to press the del key to change boot seq. Change to dvd first and hard drive second then floopy. you may have to use the f10 key or the f2 key to get to the bios. to change setting.
