Solve : cannot copy files !!? |

Answer» trying to install XP into a DELL C800 laptop with 256 mb and right after it FORMATED the load stops and i GET the message " cannot copy kodak cd file or any other file. It gives me the choice SKIP OR TRY again. The thing goes EVERY time . please some ADVISE .Are you installing from a bootable Windows CD? this happened on my freinds old laptop it seems with older pcs you need to choose fat 32 instead of ntsf then it works This is bunk. It may be stalling because of the low amount of RAM and or the CD may have smudges/scratches on it...these are the 2 most common causes of this symptom. Another cause is if it's a bogus copy of XP... |
