Solve : cannot get windows to boot, need help!?

I dug an old COMPUTER of mine out of the basement in order to use it for recording with my band.

All the hardware seems to be running fine, but windows does not start.

Its an old computer and has windows 98 installed.

I dont know what to do.applesmasher101..... So what is it you want to do .......FORMAT it and start again ?    
Do you have the original Win 98 cd ?
Do you have a win 98 boot disk ?

.... How did you DETERMINE this if it wont boot up ........ can you get into the bios ?
