Solve : Cannot Install Programs-Says Installation already in progress? |

Answer» Whenever I try to install or uninstall a program a message pops up saying an INSTALLATION is already in progress. This has been happening for the last couple weeks. The computer has been turned off and on/restarted many times in this period and from what I can tell there are no installations in progress. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!What is the EXACT message?The exact message is: "Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one."

Thanks for the reply, but as said in the previous post my solution has already been solved elsewhere. I solved it by doing a "clean boot". After the clean boot I restarted with a regular boot and all installations worked FINE; some program must have been interfering beforehand. Once again, thanks for your reply though!Oh, OK |
