Answer» I got a problem with my Regional and Language Settings. It's not shown on the Control Panel list. I even tried using a software called TWEAKUI to make it appear in the control panel, and it STILL didn't work. I also tried running intl.cpl (exe for regional and language settings) and nothing poped up. Ran a VIRUS scan. no infection detected. Some help woulb be appreciated. :\ try a malware scan and SEE what pops up. Spybot WORKS good in safe mode or set it to run at boot in the options menulike i said, i ran a scan already. my av also scans for spyware/malware.Go Start>Run ("Start Search" in Vista), type in: sfc /scannow Click OK (hit Enter in Vista). Have Windows CD/DVD handy. If System File Checker (sfc) will find any errors, it'll ask you for the CD. If sfc won't find any errors in Windows XP, it'll simply quit, without any message.
