Answer» Heya, I've spent the MORNING downloading various files, all seemingly containing 9.0c, but none of them (even though it says "finished") are able to update my directx to 9.0c. I've seen a directx uninstall utility, but that requires the xp disc, which I do not have on me. (it reverts to dx 8.1 or something similar, allowing me to install a new version) Anyhow, any ideas how to get AROUND this and install 9.0c? Thanks. (Pentium 4, 3.4ghz , 1gb ram, xp, asus p5wd2 premium, geforce 6800GT)Did you try this source: DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer.
