Answer» After months of daily connections I get this:
Remote Desktop Disconneted The client could not connect to the remote computer.
Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that NETWORK problems are preventing your connection.
Please try connecting again later. If the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator.
So thats the message. Any help would be really appreciated! You may have open sessions on the server. Is this a Windows server in the Admin mode? If this is the case the machine will only except 2 connections. Take a look at the machine and disconnect one or both of the sessions.
I cannot find how to check open connections. This server was recently set to be our web server and it looks like symantec caught some hack TOOL entries. Could this be apart of my issues?
Update: Yes it is server 2kIt is possible that the machine was hacked and is the reason you are having TROUBLE. Can you reboot the machine? Is the machine local to you? Can you login without a remote session?
Rebooting the machine will FLUSH the old connections.
This may help as well....

I did reboot and got a bunch of DOS looking prompts with a weird white bar at the bottom. It started giving me regedit errors as well. The top of the prompts say killER". I have my Symantec doing a full system scan RIGHT now, but if anyone else knows what could be going on?Sounds like your machine has been hacked. I would pull the data you want off of it and do a full rebuild.
Once a machine has been taken over you can never be sure you have cleaned it completely.
Sorry for the delayed reply. I took your advice and pulled off my data and did a full wipe and reload. I appreciate the help.
