Answer» yeah i swapped out the optical drive for another ONE i no is good and it still didnt make any difference smetimes i was getting blue SCREEN of death error messages. the messages are as follows... page_fault_in_the_nonpaged_error pfn_list_corrupt pfn_list_corrupt irql_not_less_or_equal irql_not_less_or_equal for every TIME id try and reinstall windows i get one of the following error messages or something along those lines. sorry i didnt right down the error NUMBERS as well. havebeen struggeling with tis computer for a few weeks now and imat my wits end with it lolIs the optical drive on the same controller as the HDD?by same controller you mean same cable?Yes. um no. i use a seprate cable for the disk drive and a seprate one for the hdd.
