the techinical information is:

Your help would be greatly APPRECIATED
JeffFor unmountable boot volume, load the recovery console and type chkdsk /p and wait for it to finish and then do it again. Do it until it doesn't find any errors. Then do fixboot and fixmbr. Then you should be good.James, Iam not great with computers, how would I do this?
Many Thanks

Best of luck!In short, you'll boot from your XP CD and when it asks, press "r" to go into recovery console. Then it'll ask for your ADMIN password and then give you a prompt. That's where you'll enter the chkdsk /p, fixboot, and fixmbr commands. Also check out the page suggested above. Let us know if you have any more specific questions.
