This started yesterday. Can't open mail or any of the icons...It never ends!Keep in mind we can't see the machine from here...

It is an intel pentium 4, windows XP. I am on Dial-up. Prior to yesterday there was no problem.

What browser IE or Firefox ? ?

And what protection apps do you have ? ?I have netscape and internet explorer. I use AVG free and Spybot-SD RESIDENT. I hope this is what your asking.Well, I OPENED my hotmail in Explorer and it works! I don't know why this is. Thanks for the questions as it made me think about using another browser. I really appreciate this site and the good people who are there to help! You may want to download and give FireFox a TRY...i think you'll be pleasantly suprised...
ALSO look to see if DSL internet is AVAILABLE in your area...about 3 to 5 times faster for not much more...
