Answer» My son played football manager until he got a crack in the disc..so he went to buy a new one from the shop...anyway....when he inserts the disc a window pops up asking to insert correct cd/rom and restart..but the same window pops up.
Went into add/remove to try and remove football manager that was already there then installshieldwizard pops up...... Searching for Java 1.4 No Java found on this system Suitable JVM not found..select a JVM and its EXE file.................................Th ats where i get lost COS i cant see it!!
reinstalled Java...still the same.....
I have xp sp2 home edition....Java 6.2 installed Do i have to install Java 1.4 for the game to play?..as there were no probs PLAYING the game just a couple of days ago. I also find now that i am unable to burn a music CD in itunes..just keeps asking to insert a blank disc!! This ACTUALLY sounds like the physical drive is starting to have issues...can you swap it into another machine to verify ? ? If it does the same THING it's time for a new drive.
