Answer» The card SLOT on my new samsung laptop is too small for the card from my digital camera. Samsung say I need an adaptor. I have checked PCworld and ebay, but I don't know which adaptor is right for the computer. Is there a standard adaptor for Samsung laptops? Thank you in advance.1. What model Samusng laptop? 2. They have external card readers available...not too expensive...and they accommodate all 4 sizes.If the laptop has a micro SD card slot, every other kind of card will be too big, and you'll have to use a USB card reader. Except if your camera uses large size SD cards then you can use an micro SD card in an adapter in your camera. The adapter fits in a regular size SD card slot. You could slide the micro card out of the adapter and stick it in your laptop slot. The adapters are very cheap.
