Answer» I am wanting to copy content from casset to disk. I am only only finding INSTRUCTIONS to MOVE information to a CD. Will a DVD work? I would rather use DVD because of larger amount of storage space.
Thank YouDo you have a DVD drive on your computer? If you do then you could save to a DVD. CDs can hold around 700 MB of data. If you don't need more than that then you can save everything on one CD. I don't know what the capacity of a DVD is but I know it is very great. If you want to upgrade to Vista you need a DVD drive because the install disc is a DVD-ROM. I recently upgraded to a DVD drive because I wanted to upgrade to Vista. He said he wants to copy contents from cassette to disk. That sounds like ripping to me.Superdave,
If this is something illegal, then I wont do it. I did purchase the cassets many years ago and want to be able to play them using a DVD. I got the information from the Kim Komando site. Maybe I don't understand ripping, please explain.
Let me know if this is illegal.
Thanks
