Windows XP Professional: CHECK Compatibility

There are two options for checking compatibility of your software and hardware to make sure your system is ready for upgrade to Windows XP:

• Search Windows Marketplace
Windows Marketplace features products that are compatible with Windows XP. You'll find Windows Marketplace HELPFUL if, for example:

You have Windows XP and are considering buying NEW software or a new hardware device but want to check its compatibility first.

If you do not see a product in Windows Marketplace, it does not necessarily mean the product will not work with Windows XP—to be sure, you should check with the product's manufacturer.
• Use the Upgrade Advisor
The Upgrade Advisor is a tool you can download and install to check if your system hardware and software are ready for upgrade to Windows XP.

certified for vista means that it has been tested with vista without problems. the graphics card should be able to run under windows xp pro, you might need to just get xp drivers if none are provided.

check with graphics manufacturer's website if you need more info.

as long as WIN xp can detect and run the video card you want to use, you are fine.
