Answer» I recently took the ownership of system32 to change some .dll's, now when I try to GIVE ownership back to trusteinstaller I can't SEE it on list and when I try to click "Other users or groups..." then I get an error message: "Unable to display the user SELECTION dialog %1 is not valid win32 application" Any ideas on what should I do?Which DLL's did you replace? Was this system infected, you killed the malware, and you were fixing it piece by piece? If you know the exact DLL's that you replaced, where did these DLL's come from, the web or another system of same OS and Service Pack version? The most common issue with DLL's is having ones of wrong version to that of the OS.
