Answer» Hi, I currently VIEW my email through Orange/Wanadoo home page email. I want to changeover to Microsoft Outlook as I use it at work and its easy to use, but OBVIOUSLY don't want to lose my saved emails that I have in My Folder on Orange.
1. How can I change over to Microsoft Outlook, so that all emails to me come into that Inbox ? 2. How can I get my saved emails to the Microsoft Outlook box ?
thanks in advance
RussFirst...you'll want to configure Outlook with your USERNAME, PASSWORD and server settings for your mail account at Orange/Wanadoo.
Once this is done and you're able to use Outlook...test it to see if it sends and receives email with your Orange/Wanaoo settings. If it can...then all you have to do is open your Webmail account on another PC and forward your saved messages to yourself while Outlook is configured and running on the other PC.
It is not a good IDEA to have a separate email client open and your web mail open at the same time on the same computer. Thanks for your reply, how do I configure Outlook please ??...I have checked all of the menus and there is nothing saying how to configure. Here are two links for information about configuring Outlook 97/98, 2000 and 2002. Just substitute the GOES information with the information you need to obtain from Orange/Wanadoo.

http://home.goes.com/support/ol2000/index.cfm
http://home.goes.com/support/olxp2002/index.cfmDoes Orange/Wanadoo support access of POP3, IMAP, or HTTP Protocol emails?
Reasoning: Most free email clients (web based) do not offer these options for free. Your provider must provide it for free before you can access your email via a client installed on your computer.
