Solve : Check Disk and Disk Defragmenter not working?

Hi, I've been having trouble with my chkdsk.exe and DISK Defragmenter. I am unable to get my disk check and my C: drive doesn't show on the Disk Defragmenter.

Whenever I schedule the Disk Check, the check will automatically cancelled when the countdown timer starts from 9 seconds.

As for the Disk Defragmenter, I can only see the D: drive.

My operating system are as follows:

Levono Win7 PC
Windows 7 Home PREMIUM / 64-bit
INTEL(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 540 @ 2.53GHz 2.53 GHz
RAM 4GBHave you asked Lenovo?

They may have some of those tasks automated and removed user controls, but don't quote me on that.

Since you have OWNED the machine, were you ever able to see C: in defrag?If you go to...

Start->Run
Type services.msc
Press enter

Yes, I can see the C: drive. But when I click on the Properties, Tools, Defragmentation, I'm unable to loate the C: Drive.

And when I click on Error Checking, the disk check will never start on the next startup.Click start then All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools and right click on disk defragmenter. Choose Run as Administrator. Can you defragment now?
