Solve : Checking Windows Service status using batch file?

Hi  Guys,

I NEED  to  check  the status  of a PARTICULAR windows service  running on  a  SYSTEM  using  .bat  file..

If it's  STOPPED,  then   it  needs  to  send  a  mail ( I  have worked out  the  mail sending  part)
