Answer» Webcam says "please turn on the camera" but will not start. Correct driver identified but installation failed. Device manager states "This device cannot start. (Code 10) CLICK 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available." Hard drive was recently replaced due to some fault and webcam has not worked since. Have a Toshiba P200-13Z Satellite LAPTOP. Any ideas?Did you attempt to go to the MANUFACTURER website and download their drivers? Windows may have identified the device as a webcam and installed a generic driver that may not work. Also, is this a built-in webcam? If it is external, what brand and MODEL number is it? Here is a link to the Toshiba P200-13Z Satellite laptop drivers page. Make sure to select the operating system you are using, and pay special attention to whether or not you need the 32 or 64 bit drivers, this varies by computer. "Camera Software" is the listing you will need to locate after you enter your OS on that page. It is one zipped FILE, about 23MB or so.
