Solve : Chinese characters intrusion?

Hello

I seem to be getting Chinese characters POPPING up in different PLACES on my desktop. For example, if I right-click on my desktop, I can see this (please see attached). How can I remove them, please?

I used to have Chinese installed on my KEYBOARD via Windows (7) Regional settings, and I have downloaded a couple of Chinese fonts. However, I have REMOVED Chinese from my keyboard, THOUGH I don't know what that 'Ink' attribute is (please see other screenshot attached).
