Answer» Since i started using my desktop again, i've noticed this incredibly irritating problem: No matter how many times i set the CLOCK a day (3 times or more) it's always wrong. And the computer is on all the time. For example, this afternoon about 2PM i went to use it, and the time still said 10PM yesterday. and the computer was on all night. Why is it doing this? Can someone help me please? -John EDIT: I should probably mention that the OS is Windows 2000 Professional SP4Your CMOS battery which is on the MBoard is failing...replace it Part # CR 2032 about the size of a dime and available anywhere they sell either Hearing Aids or computers... As usual when working inside the machine remove all power sources and TAKE the NECCESSARY anti-static precautions...

That's what I was thinking, but i didn't know it would cause the clock to be wrong while the computer was running... Thanks -JohnYou're more than Welcome...
