Answer» The famous clock, visible at the right down corner showing time and date is going haywire.....after the new wintertime it showed even 2 hours less which I COULD restore of course but today it "lost" a whole day!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can be the reason?
Have Athlon 64, 4.2Ghz, 2gigs RAM, XP+SP3 and all the other automatic updates, IE70(up til today NO problems with it), AVG antivirus/antispyware, Sygate FIREWALL, Spybot, Superantispyware...
...and the machine is clean check the time zone, that its correct, in the 2nd tab after you open the clockEnter setup on SYSTEM start and check the time in the BIOS...if that is off ALSO replace the CMOS battery...about the size of a dime on the motherboard. Part # CR 2032.
thanks cool, will check Make sure all POWER sources are removed and take anti-static precautions. You will need to re-enter the BIOS after and set the correct time.
