Yes, disparaging comments seldom help. The FORUM has allowed this thread to continue beyond the normal duration of what should be a basic problem. It is now too long to get a clear picture of what the ISSUE really was.
But the OP has said that now he has a perfect copy of his drive, so this thread should be considered solved. Even if the solution is not weld understood.I actually find it interesting that it wasn't until the last Post that he mentioned a RAID array...which changes all dynamics of the advice being given...
Oh well...guess we lost 1...

Actually i sit corrected...
It was mentioned in Post 13...after numerous bad attempts...i just missed it.
