Solve : Closed Mailbox?

Answer»

I have a new DELL Inspiron 1525 running Vista.7 weeks ago I damaged my old Dell beyond  repair during which time loads of e-mails were sent but I couldn`t receive them.Consequently my Mailbox is full and closed. How can I RELEASE the stored e-mails to read and delete? Is this your ISP based e-mail?  What e-mail service is it?

If it's ISP based, maybe their tech support may be ABLE to help you. Thanks Aegis. My ISP is Virgin but my e-mail service is Windows Mail ( formerly Outlook Express ).Windows Mail...all right...we'll have to see what we can find.

I don't even have Vista...I'll have to poke around a bit...Go to your ISP web site, ACCESS your mailbox from there, and delete what you want. Quote

Why didn't I think of that?    I do it every day.  (I'm currently not using an e-mail client.)

Broni is correct.  (He's smarter than Patio -- we just don't tell everyone.)
