I have an Excel database that is color coded. I want to us it for a WORD mail merge and keep the color coding. I there a way to do this?

ThanksI'm almost 100% sure, it can be DONE, if you are willing to learn the computer language VISUAL Basic for Applications (VBA), which has been designed for applications of MS Office, like Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc. You only have to test on the color property of Excel-cells and use the same colors in the format of Word-texts.

Excel is for spreadsheets... Access is the office database program.

So, is it an Excel SPREADSHEET or an Access database?
