reinstall java version6 but i think i need a few .dll files in order to get anything to download properly Have you ever heard of the concept of sentences?  You have about 10 short sentences all run together.

So, you have Windows ME.  Why did you post this in the Windows Vista and 7 forum?

I think you're GOING to have to put a lot more effort into describing your problem and I suggest you put more effort into the grammer of your posts in the forum.   Also many later applications designed for XP and later don't actually make sure you are TRYING to install or run them on XP or later. This means it will give you errors like "cannot find DLLEntryPoint X in file.dll"; This does not mean your operating system is corrupt or missing files, it means the program simply wasn't designed with the possibility that somebody would run it on an earlier Operating System in mind.it worked b4 there were no error messages

barriere la comprehension de cote** aside, We STILL need more info. You haven't mentioned what, if any, error messages you get, for example. That's a rather important starting point.

other then that, all I can suggest is you run sfc /scannow

EDIT: oh, wait, not sure if ME has sfc; it might, but I don't think so. aside from that, there is system restore.

* yes, some of that should have accents, and probably a circumflex, but it has been far too long since I've used french in any capacity. There are probably mistakes as well, etc. Clearly however english is not important so I gave some of my advice in French. or what is probably a terrible approximation of french. I was tempted to try to write my entire post in french, but it probably would have been incomprehensible even to a fluent french speaker.

**great, now I can't write in english. I hope you're happy  Quote from: BC_Programmer on January 04, 2011, 11:45:24 PM
