Answer» I think this thread would GO here, lol. So, I RECENTLY got a Compaq Presario 1201T and started it up. It loads the red Compaq screen, then it shows a black screen with a LITTLE white thing blinking in the top left corner, then it goes crazy, heres a video to what it does, because i can't really explain it better. Here's the Video EDIT: I forgot to mention that it operates on Windows ME.Hmm might be a BIOS problem since the computer doesn't seem to get FAR ENOUGH to start booting the OS. Try reseting the BIOS settings. You should be able to enter the BIOS config by hitting either F2, F10 or F12 when the red Compaq logo appears.
