Answer» Went to System RESTORE on 3/16/20 clicked next Used 4 Restore DVDs
from eMachines on applications, drivers & operating system. This restored
our machine prior to 3/16/10 to our date of purchase 5 years or so preceeding. Every effort has been made to go back to 3/15/10 where we
can recapture our old files, ETC. It has all been unsuccessful. There APPEARED to be at one point where we clicked a box to backup these old
files. We realize you are all professional & we are old & perhaps too INEXPERIENCED to explain this any better. But we'd love to have our old pictures, old pictures of GRANDCHILDREN & other files where we could use them. ThanksOuch !
Your data may be permanently gone...
However look in Windows Explorer...not Internet Explorer for a Windows.old or Windows.bak folder...
