I just GOT a brand new $2000 computer for Christmas and it was working fine until a few days ago. I left it on over night, probably around 17 hours and when I got home from class that day it was frozen. I haven't been able to get it to work since then. I'll turn it on and get all the way in to log into my admin profile and then maybe get one program open, but after that the screen goes opaque (if i have a program running) and the mouse does the circle spinning thing. I am pretty good with computers so I think I can fix this myself (I really do not WANT to have to take it to CompUSA!!!). Is anyone else having this problem? Im also sometimes getting this error "Logon Process has failed to create the security options dialog" but not verytime I restart the computer. Like I said, it was working just fine before I left it on all of that time, so I have no idea whats up!! My roommate downloaded something a few days ago, but it was working fine even a dew days after that so I am not sure whats up. Please help!!
