Answer» Hi, I have recently built my own computer, with a i core 3 processor, 8gb of ram. And with windows 7 operating software. However when i plug in a memory stick WHETHER straight into the MOTHERBOARD or the front. And i try to open a file larger than about 10mb the windows explorer crashes and says that the folder is empty. The memory stick works fine in other computer. I do not disconnect it when i take it out. But my computer can read it when i put it in and it comes up under device manager. Any ideas? ThanksI presume that it's a video file? Hi,

What does this mean? Do you mean you don't use the Safely Remove Hardware feature when you remove it? No i dont use the safety remove hardware.Why?I wouldn't think a .Pdf or Word file would be too large...
