Well the 10 disk set is HP reboot full recovery disks I got from HP. Works well but won't get RID of virus's. found out that I have w32.wallz and DOWNLOADED from Mcafee the latest patch for getting rid of virus's and put it on my desktop. I need to run updates after that. Started to run it last night but computer crashed again before it was down scanning. will try again tonight when I get home. I'm i on the right track here? thanksYata:

The w32.wallz worm (AKA Net-Worm.Win32.Small.b) is relatively new as it was discovered in Feb. 2005.  To remove it, you should follow these instructions:

1. Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
2. Update the virus definitions.
3. Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as W32.Wallz.
4. Delete the value that was added to the registry.

Detailed info. is found here:

IMPORTANT: Do not skip step *any* of these steps.  If you do not feel comfortable editing the Registry (step #4) let us know and one of us will explain it to you.

Blessings to you!
