Solve : Computer doesn't automaticly(sp?) shutoff now? |

Answer» A little while back i had to REFORMAT my computer. I am running windows XP professional. When i used to press shut down it used to shut off on its own. But after i FORMATTED and pressed shut down it now goes to this screen where it says its now safe to shut down your computer. And i have to hold in on the power button for 5 seconds in order for it shut down. Does anyone know what i can do so that i can make it show down again by itself.Start > Run > msconfig > ADVANCED > what is quick shutdown set to?I did exactly what you said a system Configaration Utility comes up there is a BUNCH of tabs and i cant find nothing about shutdown and the only thing that says advanced is under the BOOT.INI tab. |
