Solve : Computer freezes for no reason...? |
|
Answer» Okay I'm running Windows XP Home Edition. My problem is that when I'm signing into my dial-up connection, right when everything gets connected, and it is about to show the icon for being connected in the system tray, the computer like freezes. To get out of the freeze I have to click on start, and then click ctrl alt del like 50-200 times for it to unfreeze. It usually only does this when I'm signing into my connection, but rarely it does it some time else. More info, Ram, Cpu, HDD (space), recent events that may have caused this, etc. RAM is 512 mb CPU is 2.1 ghz HDD space is 108 gb free No recent events that would have caused this What do you mean by the second part of your post No newer modem driversno check them...Quote from: unlovedwarrior on August 05, 2007, 09:50:30 PM no check them...
