@patio, yes it is set to turn off after 20 mins.

Then that explains the hesitation you are seeing when using it after sitting idle...Quote from: Track on February 13, 2013, 10:29:02 AM
I have excellent cooling on both CPU and GPU. Neither get above 70C under load.
70C sounds high to me and doesn't seem quite right for "excellent cooling". You might WATCH temps more closely to look for a correlation between temps and computer behavior problems. Oh... I just noticed who the OP is! Welcome back

It really depends on the SPECIFIC CPU in question. Some have rather high operating temperatures.Quote from: patio on February 15, 2013, 07:03:29 AM

It was never slow after "waking up" before. But it was a fluke.. only happened once.

I think it's PRETTY good for an i5-2500k @ 5.0Ghz and an HD 6950 @ 950Mhz.

Of course, I went back to stock when I was testing.

Would it bother you if I were shocked that I am remembered here? It's only been a Month of Sundays...Quote from: patio on February 15, 2013, 10:40:33 AM
