Solve : Computer Lagging???

Answer»

I recently purchased this computer about 2-3 months ago. For some odd reason, it is completely LAGGING with games. And I'm not TALKING about the BIG games... simple games like Zuma and such. I've ran all spyware/adware scans, defrag (even though it said it didnt need to be done), deleted temp. files, etc., etc., etc. I have NO clue what's GOING on! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

This is your problem. Your on-board video is eating up almost half of your RAM.
You need to add another 1GB of RAM. Quote from: Broni on April 07, 2008, 07:43:38 PM

Out of curiosity, what exactly is the on board video? Is that what's on it when you first buy it? Or is that stuff I may have put on the computer?On-board video works like standalone video CARD, but it's built-in chipset, which uses regular computer RAM (sharing), while separate video card uses its own RAM.
In general - XP - 1GB, Vista - 2GB if you want it work flawlessly.
RAM is cheap!
