On it go into the control panel and go to "User Accounts". Change the password for your account (not the Administrator one).Hi,
My name's Aurora. Recently inherited a Dell Windows Vista. I don't know the password for this computer and am at a lost about what to do. HOPE you don't mind that I jumped here on "your bandwagon" (so to speak), however, this is my first time on this forum. Someone mentioned going to a slave hardrive in order to retrieve present data.... Haven't really gone that route. I want to find out how to do this.
