Answer» After the COMPUTER starts up, it logins in and so on.. then once it loads PERSONAL settings, nothing happens. It just shows the background and the mouse. I pressed ctrl+alt+del and checked to see if explorer.exe was running and it was. I closed it and re-opened it USING the RUN function, but no luck. Three of the COMPUTERS in my house have had this problem. I solved this one's (laptop) by using system restore. The desktop's system restore isnt working, it says something like 'System restore is not able to protect your computer. Try restarting and running system restore again.' I tried to do it again and the same error message came up. Does anyone know how to fix this?bump.We need your computer info, to start with.
