Solve : Computer only boots in safe mode?

1.	Solve : Computer only boots in safe mode?
Answer» I have Windows 98 Second edition preloaded on a Compaq computer and it only boots in safe mode. EVEN when I HIT F8 and set it on normal manually it STILL starts comes up safe mode. Help!
