Solve : computer restartsover and over? |

Answer» IM having a very big problem with my compaq presario pc. i was attempting to install a CRACKED version of windows xp professional (the computer came with xp HOME) and during the standard computer RESTART, i noticed the computer restarted several times. it starts up, loads up until right before you get to the logon screen, (the logon screen doesnt SHOW up) and it restarts again, and keeps restarting continually. ive tryed booting in safe mode, ive tryed all the different options that you can try when you press F8 at startup. and when i selected the option to disable system restart at malfunction, or something like that, a blue screen came up saying there was a severe error, and it stopped itself from loading to prevent any further damage. it also wont let me do a system recovery, because the recovery files are located on a seperate hard drive on the computer, so i cant access them to run them, and since they came on a seperate hard drive, the PC came with no recovery cd's. i need help very badly, and it would be appreciated if someone could help me out. thanks for reading.Step #1: Purchase a legal copy of the operating system. |
