|
Answer» Most of the processes are System Download & run PROCEXP from I didnt see that on there the thing is, I have had symantec antivirus for months but this problem only started happening 2 days ago...Look harder. August 16 Process Explorer v9.25 Process Explorer v9.2 shows a real-time CPU graph in its tray ICON, adds CPU graph and I/O delta columns to the process view, reports 32-bit LOADED DLLs for 32-bit processes on Windows 64-bit systems, and lets you view and edit process security descriptors. It also supports Windows Vista. ccapp may or may not be norton.I downloaded it and its running so now what??Look at the CPU usage, what is using your cpu?I started the program and the cpu usage went down to 15% and everything is fine, I did kill the AOL thing that was running since I dont have AOL, I just dont know if thats what did it or not...it was called AOLsoftware...I restarted my computer and the problem happened again and YES its the aolsoftware.exe it uses 100 cpu and when I kill it everything is fine. How do I get rid of it permantly?Check the menu entry to see if there is an uninstaller. Check Add/Remove Programs to see if there is a remove option. Check msconfig to see if you can STOP it from starting. Download & run HIJACKTHIS to stop it from starting. Search your computer for the .exe file & then delete it from safe mode or with KillBox. Run a registry cleaner to tidy up.AOL = AO *censored*. Try using something else. |
